The flower rings I'm re-releasing are a full circle moment for me. Many, many moons ago I started making jewellery with vintage jewellery components, buttons, game pieces and even fridge magnets. After making for a few years I took myself to a Melbourne rooftop market with some stud earrings I made from buttons and vintage acrylic flowers. These flowers are made from a mould of those exact acrylic flowers I used back in 2005-2006. I first cast them in sterling silver for a jewellery course project in 2014 and I'm so happy to have them back to share.
All flower pieces are cast in Melbourne in recycled precious metal. They're then returned to my Otway forest studio where I clean up the castings, solder a ring shank to the flower, polish and finish the piece.
This piece is for everyone and made in your size and choice of precious metal. You can have your sterling silver ring oxidised or regular sterling silver, choose your preference via the dropdown menu.
