Shipping and postage
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Due to our remote location, Betsy Blonde arranges the delivery of your orders every Tuesday and Friday.
Domestic
Within Australia we offer the following shipping options.
Standard delivery - $11.60 - approximately 3-10 business days or FREE with any order of $300 or more.
Express delivery - due to our remote location, we can not offer Express Post as an option with guaranteed delivery timeframes.
We are happy to work with you where there is exceptional circumstance to upgrade your parcel to Express Post, but we are unable to guarantee it will arrive in Australia Post’s Express Post timeframes. Please reach out via the contact page to discuss this further.
International
We provide Airmail with tracking, insurance and signature on delivery required for International orders - $50 - approximately 3-6 weeks. The price covers insurance and tracking for your parcel in the unlikely event the parcel goes missing.
Can I track delivery of my parcel?
Tracking numbers will be provided via email once your order is fulfilled, allowing you to determine where your parcel is at any time once delivery has commenced by searching on the Australia Post website.
Fulfilled parcels may still take a day or so to be scanned into Australia Post’s system. Please keep this in mind when tracking your parcel. If you’re concerned about the location of your parcel, please get in touch and we will follow it up for you with Australia Post.
What happens if my order is lost in transit?
Please get in touch with us directly if you feel there is an issue with delivery of your order.
NB: All domestic orders are automatically insured for the purchase value through Australia Post.
Payments and taxes
What payment methods are available?
Betsy Blonde accepts Visa and MasterCard via ShopPay, PayPal and AfterPay through our secure payment gateway provided by Shopify.
International Orders and Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Orders made within Australia will attract Goods and Services Tax (GST), however orders placed from any country outside of Australia will be charged without GST. All orders are processed in Australian Dollars.
Returns, exchanges and refunds
Can I return my purchase?
We understand that sometimes things just aren’t what you expected. If you’d like to return for a change of mind or something doesn’t fit right, get in touch with us and we can go through your available options.
We will likely offer an exchange or store credit for a future purchase. We only offer refunds in exceptional circumstances or where the item is deemed to be faulty or not fit for use.
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you would like to return or exchange an item you have purchased. We will not process any returns, refunds or exchanges after 30 days of receipt of your item.

Customer service
How do I know the right size ring or bangle to buy?
Ring sizing: We provide a complimentary ring sizer with any ring purchase via post. Please reach out to obtain your free ring sizer after you’ve completed your order for your dream ring. As always if you have any questions please contact us.
Bangle sizing: Sizing your bangle is simple if you have a bangle in your collection that fits you well. Simply lay the bangle flat over a ruler or measuring tape and measure the internal diameter. E.g 6.5cm internal diameter. This size will correspond to the sizes in the bangle product listings. If you do not see the exact size you’d like, please reach out and we can update the listing to make exactly the size you need to order.
Bracelet sizing: Please be aware that bangle and bracelet sizing are different. A bangle has to fit over your hand whereas a bracelet can be closed around your wrist with the closure clasp. To best measure your perfect bracelet length, lay a bracelet you know fits you over a ruler or tape measure and make note of the total length. E.g 21cm long. This length will correspond to the sizes in the bracelet product listings.
Can you create a custom piece of jewellery for me?
If within my portfolio of work you see something that you like that you’d like customised for yourself or as a gift, please get in touch with me and we’ll discuss.
NB: the only customisations possible are lengthening or shortening of an earring wire or a handmade chain. Bangles and bracelets can be made to a specific millimetre in size, for example you see a 6.5cm internal diameter bangle in stock. However, if you want a 6.7cm internal diameter and it isn’t listed, please reach out and we can update the listing for you and make your perfect size in our made to order time frame.
Please note, I do not create custom pieces from scratch.
I bought a pair of earrings that said “one pair left” or “one-of-a-kind” but I see that they’re back in stock and you have more. How is that?
When we post a product title or description that says “one pair left” that is done with the knowledge that we have at the time. That is, that there are no longer the vintage components available to us to create another pair.
In some cases however, the vintage Gods smile upon us and we find additional versions of those components surfacing and often purchase them in order to create new pairs.
We always publish details with utmost honesty and do not seek to confuse or misrepresent the situation at hand.
Do you do jewellery repairs?
We do not offer a repair service for jewellery we haven’t made. However, if you have a piece of ours that is broken or needing repair or a part replaced, this can be assessed on a case by case basis.
We do not work on other jeweller’s work under any circumstances. We have a variety of reasons for this, but ultimately Betsy Blonde does not have the available bandwidth to help you with any repairs you have of jewellery items you own. We can suggest a reputable jeweller for you to seek out in a location close to you.
Why are these earrings available in silver but not in gold?
When we have low quantity or "one pair left" of vintage components we offer the jewellery in silver to make the item more accessible for the majority of shoppers. If however you wish to purchase an item in gold, always contact us as we may be able to upgrade you.

Do you sell wholesale to stockists?
