I first made these when I was in jewellery school and was learning about tensioning, shaping and work hardening of precious metals. These are the result of learning, trialing and, now ten years later, they've proven themselves as a staple piece in my collection and I'm so chuffed to be bale to offer them here all these years later. They were initially called the "shape hoops" by one of my then stockists because I'm so bad at naming things; 10 years later that hasn't changed :)
These are an easy, everyday wear. They're supremely lightweight and easy to wear all day and night long. I've made these in many shapes, but this shape was the first and my favourite. I still have the initial shape hand drawn onto my work bench, see picture in this listing.
Materials: your choice of sterling silver or 9ct yellow gold which are made to order. Please allow 3 weeks for a gold pair to be handmade just for you. See THIS listing for the same pair made with titanium wire.
Size: approx 5.6cm from the top of ear wire to bottom of the chevron point.
The last picture shows the template I drew onto my workbench in 2016 and I still use it to make sure every earring is the right size.
