Description
Materials: 1980s West German acrylic glass plus handmade sterling silver earring wires.
Size: aprox 6cm from top of hook to bottom of the acrylic drop. The pair being worn in the second image are identical to this pair in size.
In the Winter of 2020 I was having treatment for Cancer in a big hospital in Melbourne. Every morning I would see the hot air balloons floating about gently in the distance from my hospital room window. The elegant curves of the balloons inspired the shape of these earring wires. Inspiration is everywhere.
